T-Dog Dismissing the Cacophony 2'x3', Oil. 2004

T-Dog is a Secret Saint of DREAMZ. He walks the Dreaming even as he is unaware, and speaks as an angel, but naturally and without affect.

T-Dog is signified by two birds. As the twin jeweled canaries of the Secret Santa Sparklephys' Castle diffuse without disrespect the firey cacophony of the Aries XMas and preserve within it the magic and mystery, the double-bird of the Secret Saint T-Dog dismisses without rancor the fiery cacophonies of life to preserve the serenity, the thoughtfulness, and the vibe that resides within T-Dog. This dismissal is the Whatever, Dude.

The Whatever, Dude is the antithesis of the Fuck This Noise. Its double-bird is not an expression of aggression, but a beatific gesture, a loving dismissal of the cacophony that recognizes the right, the need of the cacophony to exist, while also diverting it from attention. The Fuck This Noise, conversely, is an aggressive gesture which devalues and displaces the incumbent cacophony.
