After reflecting on and investigating political, Indigenous, and nonhuman histories of land and place in Lederer Park, in State College, PA, the three of us developed an intervention through which we displaced the placards dedicating different trees to different (settler colonist) individuals with new placards designed to prompt critical action and reflection toward the park as a demarcated place.
